MANUFACTURING:
The soap makers use the old method of Hot Process. This traditional technique is used since at least a thousand years.
BOILING:
The Olive Oil is blended to a natural Soda in a very big Cauldron (8000kg) and boiled for approximately two days.
ADDITION:
The Laurel Oil is added at the end of the boiling process.
WASHINGS:
Salted water is then added to the dough and boiled within it.
The water is expelled from the cauldron with the excess of Glycerin (the excess of Glycerin cause difficulties for the soap to dry).
POURING OUT:
The cauldron is then emptied and the dough soap is poured out on the floor surface.
CUTTING
The liquid dough is then left to cool enough and slightly hard for Cutting. |
